The Preparatory School comprises of two buildings: Hulme Court for Years 3 and 4 and Estcourt for Years 5 and 6. Both buildings are situated on Chamber Road close to the Senior School which allows pupils of this age range to take advantage of the complete range of facilities available at Hulme.

All pupils study Art in the Brierley Studios, swim in the School Swimming Pool, have access to the Sports Hall and years 5 and 6 also have Science lessons in the senior laboratories and ICT lessons in the senior ICT suites. Our pupils are often taught by subject specialist teachers.

We provide a well-balanced curriculum of academic study that challenges enquiring minds to fulfil their true potential as well as offering a stimulating range of extra-curricular activities to nurture wider interests and talents.

Considering the individual care of each child to be of paramount importance we promote positive discipline based upon praise and reward, we encourage open, polite communication and put in place the building blocks that help create mature, responsible adults.
