Ballroom and Latin Dance Champion

Congratulations to Jack Gartside (Y7) who recently won the NW IDTA Championship at both Ballroom and Latin in the U13 category.

England Ladies U17 Football Squad

Congratulations to Anna Moorhouse (Y12) who has been selected for the England Ladies U17 Football Squad. She goes on her first training camp over half term in Warwick. Anna is a goalkeepeer and currently plays for Manchester United Ladies.

Nicola White collected a Silver medal at the Champions Trophy in Rosario.

The England team narrowly lost in the final to Argentina with their best ever result in a World level event.  We wish Nicola and the England team all the best for the Olympics Games in the summer.

Flanders Cup, Bulgaria

Jessica Fullalove swam in the Flanders Cup held in Bulgaria over the weekend of 14/15 January. Jess competed in the 100m backstroke and qualified for the final where she set a new British record for her age group.

European Championships

Congratulations to Alice Travis who over the Christrmas holidays made the final cut for the England U17 Netball squad. Alice will play in the European Championships in Glasgow in March.
